Building Aegisub

Building Aegisub from source can be a somewhat complicated process and should normally only be attempted by developers. If you have any issues hop onto the IRC channel however support is only provided to a point. If you plan on helping fix bugs, testing or develop Aegisub then you are more than welcome!

Getting Aegisub

Either grab the latest tarball from ​http://www.aegisub.org/ or get the source using git from ​git://github.com/Aegisub/Aegisub.git.

Building

For the dependencies required for each build see Dependencies.

The following instructions are available for these platforms.

• Windows.
• UNIX.
• Mac OS X.
• Ubuntu 12.04.
