Better way to split and recombine karaoke lines

While the current way of first splitting one or more lines by karaoke, then selecting ranges of lines to re-join, and joining those as karaoke, works, it's a bit of a long-winded operation. It might be possible to add an UI for this operation, recombining karaoke syllables onto different lines.
Perhaps as a kind of "master karaoke table", similar to the current one below the audio display in karaoke mode?
