jump to the end of the previous line

I would like this feature because it is very useful...

if i have a new line with the timing like 00:00:00.00 and it should be after a line that it's in the middle of an episode....if i have this shortcut i can time this line easier and an overall timing much faster

I guess he means pressing a combination of key to set the beggining of the audio to the end of the previous line (with the end of the current line being a default value later).

It could make sense since I'm always clicking on the previous line then grabbing the time to get that result. Having a key which would simulate those operations might be nice.

Is this still relevant? I'm pretty sure we have never-jump-audio-to for zero-timed lines now so if you "get lost" on the audio you can just select the closest line time-wise and then go back to your zero-timed line.

Isn't this what Ctrl+Left does?

I think Ctrl+left helps if it's followed by "right" then "ctrl+3", but it can still be better. I usually time without looking to the video, and since this shortcut doesn't affect anything on the audio timeline, I might be more disoriented as to "when" is that video picture

It could be implemented as a new single shortcut:

• ctrl+6: set the starting time to the end of previous line
• ctrl+7: set the ending time to the start of the following line
