It's impossible to write in the translation box at the bottom of the Translation Assistant window.

I'll try to replicate this, can you please attach the text you used in a comment to this ticket so I can copy/paste it in order to reproduce?

The text was "¿Por qué?", but it happen with any text.

(In [5387]) Ensure that the static box sizers in the translation assistant are created before the contained controls.
This should fix #1171.
